If you want to learn more about the protagonist in the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Unity , Ubisoft is happy to oblige.
The publisher published a blog post that tackles the main character's personality and motivations.
Written by scriptwriter Travis Stout, we get a better idea of the man we'll control during the French Revolution. Arno comes from a very old family and he's a complex, multidimensional individual who has made mistakes in the past:
"He is a very driven young man. He is haunted by mistakes in his past or perceived mistakes, that he feels he must atone for. He is very devoted to the Assassin Order as an ideal but, at the same time, he is not as impressed with the weight of the long mystical tradition and ancient rhetoric as some of the other Assassins. He likes to think for himself and make his own decisions. He isn't the type of person who will believe something just because someone tells it to him."
Stout added that Arno is a "very well-educated young man" – as was common among the nobility – so he has a "habit of quoting the classics." The bottom line is that this character is basically the opposite of a "grizzled bad-ass" who has more brawn than brains, but then again, that's par for the course in this franchise. Ezio wasn't a "grizzled bad-ass," either; he was just good with the women. 😉
Out of all the assassins i like edward kenway the best, sound like arno will be number 2 on the list.
yeah well i wudn't say much any of them were grizzled bad asses tbh so this is nothing new and its kinda what we have come to expect for this series.
