Well, this just cleared the runway for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare , wouldn't you say?
Battlefield: Hardline is arguably CoD's stiffest competition, but as Electronic Arts just announced , the anticipated new entry has been delayed until "early 2015." It was originally supposed to launch on October 21, 2014.
Franchise boss Karl Magnus Troedsson explained why the team was taking more time. In short, they want this new effort to be "the best game it can be," and they also want to ensure a "smooth launch," something which last year's Battlefield 4 most certainly did not have. Troedsson also said the single-player and multiplayer will benefit from the delay, as the developers will implement "some new feature ideas direct from the community that will evolve the cops and criminals fantasy into a truly unique Battlefield multiplayer experience."
Visceral Games will spend more time polishing core features, and as for the feedback they received from gamers during the beta:
"This feedback also spurred us to start thinking about other possibilities and ways we could push Hardline innovation further and make the game even better. The more we thought about these ideas, the more we knew we had to get them into the game you will all be playing. However, there was only one problem. We would need more time. Time that we didn't have if we decided to move forward with launching in just a couple of months."
So, that's that. We still have plenty of shooters scheduled for the holiday season, though. In addition to Advanced Warfare , there's Destiny , Evolve , Far Cry 4 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel .

good…I found the beta very dull compared to previous battlefield games.
same, bf4 was much better
yah probably wont play this.
this just in. Bungie sent me an email stating the Destiny Beta servers are already back up for action.
I knooooooooow, I am so excited to get home tonight ahahaha 😀
I was starting to get the Destiny Blues.
Just cancel it. Spend your time creating a new game that is worth our money. Not a BF4 expansion.
I seen some mp gameplay and while the idea was intriguing, it really looked like a Mish mash of set pieces with a linear type experience. It looked very scripted which isn't what I would want in a mp game.
I don't know about the sp, but I hope for Viscerals sake they create something good. I'm not interested at the moment.
Battlefield is a military shooter, not cops and robbers. Besides the Beta was awful.
Most people would not even care if it was canceled .I bought bf 4 instead of cod last time and this year ,it s gonna be cod 100 percent .
i'm happy but i don't care,as they were probably rushing it again but i wasn't going to get it anyways so watever after BF4 noway not going there
happy gaming
