Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be epic.
Developer BioWare has released a 16-minute gameplay video, narrated by creative director Mike Laidlaw, and we get an eyeful of this beautiful, engaging role-playing game.
A warrior wanders through a lush fantasy world and we're reminded that this particular zone is bigger than all of Dragon Age: Origins . There's a huge amount of things to do, too – bear hunting is only one activity – and of course, the player eventually encounters a dragon. Defeating it requires plenty of strategy, and we get a peek at the special Focus abilities, which will give our hero the edge in such battles.
Laidlaw finishes by saying- "This is the Dragon Age game we've always wanted to make." we have no doubt that that's true, and it's the gamers who will benefit. If you'd like your jaw to hit the floor, and you don't mind a bit of drool on your shorts, check this out:

Nobody expects the Dragon Age: Inquisition!
But in all seriousness, this game does look to be a very awesome experience. I'm anxious to play it and I can only imagine how good the rest of the game world looks.
Ohh it's gonna be good, not next gen good though. THAT should be the Dragon Age they want to make, but whatever it's going to rule after we gave them an ass whooping over DAII.
… Or, they built it for current gen and just scales things down on the old machines.
I mean, from the looks of it things seem to be pretty darn amazing.
If you can just scale it down then by my reckoning it isn't next gen anyway.
I'm just wondering if it'll still be possible to play from a top down 3rd person view like the original Dragon Age instead of this annoying mass effect super-closeup-3rd person view…
My favorite part was when they paused during battle to use the strategy view. Am glad they are bringing back strategy aspects to this game and glad they finally figured out that people want to play as other races.
Think I could lose a lot of hours in this…. looks very good. Looking at fighting the dragons makes me want to boot up skyrim on the PC again!
Cant freaking wait im a huge Dragon Age fan. Its one of my favorite New IPs from last gen and im glad it continues this generation.
I still have my old saves from the past games I want see how they effect the story line in this game!!
