Electronic Arts isn't the only publisher with a soccer game, ya know.
In fact, over the years, many fans of the sport will claim that Konami sometimes offered a better experience with their Pro Evolution Soccer franchise. Now, Konami is really pushing the new series entry .
PES 2015 will feature "all-new levels" of on-field realism, along with "total control" and several "completely re-worked" gameplay systems. Fans will also receive a brand new shooting mechanic that allows for "unrestricted shooting styles," and those more interested in stopping shots can actually alter their center of gravity, so they can react to just about anything.
The developers have tweaked the "final pass system" and added a new physics system as well, and the game will be running on the vaunted FOX Engine. Yes, this engine was used for PES 2014 , but Konami says that version of the engine only represented the "embryonic form" of the technology in question. Lastly, soccer aficionados will appreciate an overhaul of the popular myClub mode, so you can now add players and managers using in-game currency (or real-world money).
FIFA isn't the only soccer game in town… PES 2015 will be ready to go later this year for next-gen consoles.
