Wolfenstein: The New Order was a great game. Now, how's about a sequel?
Well, Swedish developer MachineGames fortunately has a "very clear idea" for how they'd approach a follow-up effort. In speaking with Giant Bomb , creative director Jens Matthies made it plain:
"We would love to do a sequel. We have a very, very clear idea of what we accomplished with this this, and what we want to accomplish with a sequel."
They didn't offer any details concerning that idea, but it's enough to know that a fresh Wolfenstein is a definite possibility. The game ended up being the fourth best-selling title in the month of May (despite not coming out until the 20th) and most critics very much enjoyed the straightforward FPS adventure.
If they do a sequel, they must maintain that structure. Forget the damn multiplayaer and just keep focusing on the linear FPS campaign. That's what I want.

Didn't know MachineGames was a Swedish team. Those Swedes really push out a lot games for such a small country.
Some old fashion god mode and unlimited ammo cheats like we used to see on the old id PC games would be nice. Just for the second playthrough.
I'm looking forward to playing the first one and I hope it sells enough for that sequel. Wolfy must live, and Doom needs to return soon too. War FPS are done.
Doom might be just around the corner , at least they will show some more ( first look was a small teaser showed at e3 ) in july at Quake con .

Easy platinum for PS4, and you only have to play the last level on the highest difficulty to unlock the trophy.
Prop up the AI and a sequel would be welcome. And forget about multiplayer.
i like the fact this game focused on sp only, the game lasted longer than most fps and was actually fun to play.
if they do a sequel, it cant be nazi germany again, theyre prolly gonna move ahead in time. unless they do a prequel.
ending like that HTF are they going to do a sequel!?
