Despite a recent listing on Amazon France's website for the "Ultimate Player Edition" bundle, Sony has yet to officially confirm such a product.
However, in speaking to Polygon , Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida said, "never say never:"
"In the past, we did something like Bravia TV and PS3 bundle, so that's even bigger. So never say never. We are super excited about how people are using it."
It's interesting that the bundle remains live at Amazon France's site and yet, Sony refuses to acknowledge it as reality. Maybe they're just waiting to announce it for this year's holiday season; better yet, maybe they're waiting to reveal the bundle so they can announce a new Vita exclusive at the same time! One can hope, right?
The PS4 sells for $399 while the Vita is set at $199. A $500 bundle featuring the two, along with a game and a Plus trial, might be well worth the money.
This would accelerate the timing of my purchase of a PS 4. Also, the bundle would be the only reason I'd get a Vita. Not that I disregard the Vita as a bad device, I just barely have enough time to play all my other games as it is.

I would throw my money at this deal. Make it happen Sony.
If Vita is in dire straights it's all but certain
