After a long wait, it seems we're finally starting to stumble upon some Deep Down gameplay.
For a while there, we were just seeing CGI previews of Capcom's upcoming multiplayer-oriented adventure. Now, thanks to E3, we've got a fresh look at the PlayStation 4 exclusive.
Yeah, okay, it looks a lot like Dark Souls . But make no mistake, this trailer shows off a slightly different style of gameplay and as the game is going to be free-to-play, that's another important distinction. The shared world players will explore will include microtransactions, but producer Yoshinori Ono says these will be "reasonably priced." Me, I'm turned off just because it's free-to-play, but some people don't mind the system.
Do you care one way or the other? And what do you think of the new footage?

What a waste of a nice looking game. Capcom is so stupid.
Cmon World, have a little faith?
My caution is there too, but maybe Capcom won't mess it up somehow. Gotta be optimistic, this isn't Square Enix you know.
I just can't play these things. Running into dead ends and then shelling out little bits of money here and there to build the game into what it should be just destroys the whole experience for me. Plus you can't ever expect the classic elements of a single player game and story since it's just online tomfoolery.
I'll play this a bunch on and off because its free, but like world said, what a waste of a great looking game.
Hopefully they make a killing off of this and use it to make a disc based sequel with a story and stuff and good co op.
On that note I wonder how they are going to make you pay. I like when micros are only cosmetic but only a few games do that.
personally i still a bit iffy on it have been since the free to play announcement.
happy gaming =)
What i want is a release date and as long as the game is good , i won t mind the f2p model if it won t require you to pay more then 60 for the full experience .
Better not be P2W tho .
