It sure was pretty, wasn't it?
While we didn't get any gameplay, the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End trailer shown off at the end of Sony's E3 conference was gorgeous .
And as developer Naughty Dog revealed at their website , that glorious sequence was running in full 1080p and 60 frames per second. Furthermore, it's confirmed that the designers are shooting for the same technical benchmarks in the final production, and as we saw in that video preview, the "visual fidelity for our character models will reach new heights." Did you know that right now, Drake's Uncharted 4 model already has double the number of polygons Joel had in The Last Of Us on PS3?
We don't know much about Uncharted 4 just yet, but we know Drake will "embark on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure." So…Game of the Year 2015? Probably.
This target surprises me. But because it's Naughty Dog making the call I won't question it.
I hope they make it, Uncharted deserves no less and we shouldn't settle for less.
I like polygons.
With graphics like that it would be a complete disservice to the whole project if the game was any less. I am hoping by 2015, that this just becomes the current gen standard.
great to here! they dont mess about at naughty dog!
You can make a Tetris game at 1080p/60fps, that doesn't mean it will look next-gen..
What will make U4 stand out is the lighting, high-res textures and other techniques to make the game look as good as in the trailer…
I just hope that U4 gameplay will be as close to the e3 trailer cut-scene as the previous games were, then we're definitely in for something special!
I want to see 1080p Uncharted, 60 or 30 FPS probably isn't as great of an issue, but 1080p will look fantastic
well when ND logo came up on ever one when nuts and i do blame them when they said heres the new game from (i can't remeber if they said the best or one of the best developers in the world) then every one stood still and then when nuts at the ND logo and then when the tralier started there was lot of wow's and oh my gosh's and stuff it the visualls looked amazing and the the tralier and commentary followed and to end of the name o the game i think they really ended out on a high.
happy gaming =)
