Ben-DutkaIt's easily one of the most promising games of 2014, and that hype level will continue to rise throughout the year.
Developer Rocksteady Games has produced a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight , which is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year.
The video is entitled "Evening the Odds" and the trailer features the Batmobile, a Gotham in serious trouble, and a dramatic, perhaps even cryptic, ending. The video ends with a gun being held to the hero's head while he's on the ground, and a voice saying: "There is no savior. No More hope…no more Batman." The game is set one year after the events of Arkham City and the new open world is supposed to be about five times the size of Rocksteady's last effort.
Being able to drive the Batmobile around is enough incentive for me to try it, that's for sure.

apparently "arkham knight" is the name of the main villain, who looks like batman but yields a gun.
Because it would be offensive. They'd have to call it African American Knight.
Because it's part of rocksteady's "Arkham" trilogy, all the games have Arkham in the title.
Although the "Arkham" series could technically be a quadrilogy with the inclusion of "Arkham Origins", but I guess if including "Arkham Origins Blackgate", it could be considered a sextet. 😛 You did mention Rocksteady specifically though, so maybe you were just referring to those specifically. 🙂
I like the aesthetics and sound of the "Arkham …" titles personally, and really liked the tone and gameplay of "Arkham Asylum" and do have "Arkham City" but have yet to play it. I could really use a bigger HDD, my 120GB is very restricting. I hope to get one soon.

I need this game NOW. That trailer was amazing, looks like Rocksteady won't disappoint, as usual!
really looking forward to this, for some reason it reminds me of the dark night, just has a darker more serious tone to it.
i just hope the cat and mouse AI and gameplay of asylum is back, and they have much more gadgets and a more emphasis on them.
oh and of course keep the more detective focus of origins.
