If you play Battlefield 4 on PC, you already have the option to rent a servier for the multiplayer portion of the game.
Now, though, publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed that console players will soon have the same option. In an update on the Battlelog , an EA representative confirmed:
"Indeed, it is coming. I'm afraid we don't have any information on this quite yet, but it is coming soon!"
PC players can rent a BF4 server for a fee, which varies depending on duration and provider. There was a similar feature for Battlefield 3 for both PC and consoles, so to have this option available for the new title is no huge surprise. As a server administrator, you can set the match rules, make your server private or public, configure the available maps, modes and weapons, and perhaps the most appealing aspect: You can choose who to boot, ban or mute when playing.
But please, be a man…don't just kick someone out because they're better than you.

Been an Admin on several CSS servers for nearly a decade. The power consumes me, feeds me; makes me do horrible things to people!
