inFamous: Second Son is chock full of great combat, and it should feature the smoothest, deepest mechanic yet. If you want to get a good look at it, here's one of the best pieces of footage to date.
This comes courtesy of Taiwanese news site EToday: It's a mission that tasks players with taking out an armored vehicle, and we're seeing a large amount of environmental destruction (more than we've seen in previous segments). We also see Delsin absorbing neon from nearby lights, which refuels that particular skill set. Remember that the protagonist can utilize neon and smoke, but those aren't his only powers…Sucker Punch is just being all secretive about the others.
Running up the sides of buildings also looks like tons of fun. To be honest, though, I've always liked the climbing mechanic in these games; it's quick and reliable, and it makes you feel at least partially human. The running up walls is a little too superhero-y to me, but that's okay.

I hope they release a demo so we all can try this out soon. Seems that they have a demo build already, so am I asking for much?
I'm guessing this game will sell a lot of PS4s. Can't wait until the end of March! A demo would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath.

The PS4 is expected to catch up to demand in Feb/Mar this year, and since Infamous launches at the end of March, it should be easy!
Delsin seem pretty powerful compared to Cole. I like.
I REALLY like how Delsin is just so much more of a bad ass than Cole was.
Cole was a grumpy guy who spent way too much time complaining about his powers. I like that we can play as someone who LOVES who he is.
Dare I say… awesome! And, from what I could see, it was nice to see or not see frame rate drops. With all the physics and enviromental effects I did notice any drops. Very fluid.
I think the character movements, turns and such are a bit abrupt, but heck, who really cares when the action looks fast and … awesome.
I envy PS4 ownders. This game looks to be, be it all demo shown, the first real title for the PS4. Fingers crossed, its meets expectations. And bonus if its more.

Holy cow what sort of memory referencing/allocating techniques did they implement in this code. Must look insane!
It made my head explode questioning that after I just witnessed the ghostly jumping and boosting around & around the environment with no slow-down or pop-ins.

far too much of games is shown these days making playing through it feel like a already seen this old experience.
hope they give us a demo soon theres allot of people waiting on purchasing till this finally releases.
They have already said that they won't be revealing any other powers besides what they already have.
