When watching this gameplay teaser, it's important to remember the developer's statement .
While they freely admit to creating early videos and trailers that are more about flash than substance, they keep telling the avid fans and hardcore gamers that Hitman: Absolution will most certainly appeal to them, too.
IO Interactive is simply widening the scope a bit, that's all. Well, take a look at this new gameplay teaser for the upcoming franchise iteration, and tell us what you think…we like the third-person action, but we assume we can be stealthier, yes?
Posing as a police officer should allow you to move relatively freely, provided you don't blow your cover. Again, that's an assumption. We never have any problem with expanded ideas; it's changed concepts that can sort of have negative effects on the experience, especially in the eyes of veteran followers.

Looks awesome. Hopefully the stealth aspects are good. I miss stealth games, I wish someone would make another good tenchu game. Deus Ex was my first taste of stealth gameplay in a long time, hopefully this can match or surpass that.
It looks amazing graphics wise. I too hope we can be a bit more stealthy. The part with the helicopter makes me worry a little though. It's like you have to have a shoot out with the cops or that your exit is always known.
I've always been a big Hitman fan so this will definitely be a day 1 purchase for me.
They really, really need to soon release a trailer that shows off something else than just action now.

right especially if they are claiming its more than just action. What should the Vets think if they say it isn't action but all they show is action??
It's like me watching you unload a bunch of rum and pineapples and coconuts then you swear that you aren't making pina coladas.
Hehe – that was a funny comparison. Let's hope this turn out to be something else than Pina Coladas!
Sorry I was referring to the full gameplay vid on youtube.
Just saw the full gameplay vid, and I see nothing bad about it. IMO, it looks like a typical Hitman level where you have many different options of how to go about things. They just mixed it up to show what all they have to offer.
And right now, this is looking really good. Should be one of the high-profile releases of next year if they've done it right, which I feel they have.
The graphic is AMAZING and we're still miles away from the full game release.
This is already on my wishlist for 2012.
i want this!
NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, yes, yes….and yes again!
