You may remember last holiday season that while every console got a version of Tony Hawk Project 8, Nintendo's Wii wasn't fortunate enough to get the same treatment. Instead Activision had Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam released for the newborn Nintendo console. Downhill Jam also found its way onto the Nintendo DS and GameBoy Advance. Well, when Activision announced their adjusted fiscal Q4 earnings projections (ending March 31st, 2007) they also officially announced a port of Downhill Jam for the PS2. Yes, PlayStation 2.
In case you're not familiar with Downhill Jam, it is nothing like the standard Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games. It's essentially like EA's SSX, but without the snow. The game is a nice little throw back to titles such as 2Xtreme for PSOne, and even the more recent Downhill Domination for PS2. No set release date was specified, but the game is expected to hit around the summer time.
