The movie raked in $178 million in the U.S. and $326 million worldwide, so obviously, everyone loves computer-generated dancing penguins. And if that's the case, shouldn't the game be equally popular? Yep.
Coming hot on the heels of its recent announcement that Mortal Kombat: Armageddon had sold more than one million copies , Midway has another reason to smile- the publisher has shipped over 1.8 million copies of the Happy Feet game worldwide. It's available on the PS2, Wii, GameCube, DS, GameBoy Advance, and PC.
This should ultimately help Midway's bottom line, considering they lost $22 million in the last quarter, which was actually a small improvement over the previous quarter.
