In yet another bid for the corporate world to pretend as if they actually care about family values, UK retail outlet Currys has stated that Bully (in Europe retitled Canis Canem Edit) will not find a place on its shelves. The reasoning behind such a move? Well, the controversy in America is one part of it (even as completely deflated as that's become), but specifically the fact that the game deals with kids as opposed to adults.
"We're a family-friendly retailer. We don't think this game is appropriate for our stores and have decided not to stock it," said one spokseman.
Currys will continue to carry Grand Theft Auto games and the recently released Scarface: The World Is Yours.
