Vivendi unveiled its E3 line-up today, and, no surprise, it looks like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon are poised to make a comeback.

Although Crash's latest product is "just" a party game for the Nintendo DS handheld, Spyro is getting the full-on rebirth treatment in a multi-platform game called Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. The game is being developed by Aussie dev Krome Studios, the blokes behind the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series.

Not much is known currently about the purple dragon's upcoming adventure, except that it will have a greater emphasis on flying and combat than previous installments.
