Any time you bring up a Superman videogame, a comment about the horrific
Superman 64 (considered by many to be one of the worst games of all time)
generally isn't far behind. EA, who now hold the license for the Man of Steel is
quite aware of this, so they're being quite careful to make sure their videogame
version of Superman Returns does the license justice. They've released a new
trailer for the game featuring Superman in a tense battle with a giant robot,
and it looks terrific.

You can
view a short trailer for the game here.

Superman Returns places you in the role of Superman and gives you full
control of your super powers such as flight, x-ray vision, heat vision, super
hearing, super strength, super speed, super breath, and of course, the power of
flight. The city of Metropolis (with 80 sq miles and more than 9,000 buildings),
as well as its citizens will be yours to protect.

Superman Returns: The Videogame is based on the movie of the same name, and
is due in stores on June 28th.
