World Soccer Winning Eleven 9, the game that makes soccer fans drool, has shipped to retail stores nationwide. The game is being released on the PS2, PSP, Xbox, and the PC.

This year the game has new team management features and for the first time ever – online play for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. You'll be able to go head-to-head and use player created teams, play in tournaments and compete in a divisional ranking system as well. The PSP version of the game also marks the first time the series has been released on a handheld system.

“The release of Winning Eleven 9 is a true milestone for this hallowed soccer franchise, as the massive community of Winning Eleven enthusiasts can finally play head-to-head online either on the PlayStation 2 or on Xbox as well as enjoy ‘soccer on-the-go’ with the PSP system version of the game,” said Catherine Fowler, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Konami.

World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 is rated “E” for Everyone by the ESRB and has an SRP of $39.99.
