Sony Announces Six More For 2005

Our friends at Sony Computer Entertainment America today announced six more new software titles to be made available for the PlayStation 2 and PSP systems by the end of 2005.

Coming to the PS2 are Shadow of the Colossus (the follow-up to Ico), Genji: Dawn of the Samurai, and Neopets: The Darkest Faerie.

Meanwhile, the PSP will get three of its own, including MediEvil Resurrection, the sequel to the PS1's Medievil games, a new crime-based fighting game called The Con, and a portable Neopets game with what we believe is the funniest title of 2005, Neopets: PetPet Adventure — The Wand of Wishing.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) – Fall 2005

Developed in conjunction with the developers of the critically
acclaimed ICO comes a new adventure — Shadow of the
Colossus. In Shadow of the Colossus, players take the role of a
young man seeking the truth of an ancient tale of power hidden in a
mystical land. Shadow of the Colossus is a majestic journey through
ancient lands to seek out and destroy gigantic mythical beasts.
With a trusty horse at your side, players explore the spacious lands
and unearth each Colossi. The uneasy task of defeating a Colossus
relies on intelligent puzzle solving and action oriented gameplay.
Armed with strong wits, a mystical sword and a sturdy bow, players
use cunning and strategy to topple each behemoth. ( See Our Screenshots )
