Vivendi Universal has announced that Crash Twinsanity has shipped to stores nationwide. Crash and Dr. Cortex are forced to team up to fight for a common cause, and, as the press release explains, hilarity ensues.
Though the series has sold over 30 million copies since arriving on the Playstation in 1996, the Crash Bandicoot franchise has fallen on hard times. Failure to innovate and ridiculous load times have been a big part of the problem, and Vivendi Universal say they've addressed those issues in the latest game. Crash Twinsanity is currently available in North America on PlayStation 2 and Xbox for a suggested retail price of $49.99, with an ESRB “E” rating.
