David Duchovny, Powers Boothe and Marilyn Manson have all signed on to contribute voice-acting to Midway's upcoming PlayStation 2 and Xbox title, Area 51.

Former X-Files star Duchovny will voice the game’s lead character, specialist Ethan Cole, a soldier who specializes in hazardous materials investigations. Boothe (Deadwood) will take the role of Major Bridges, while rocker Manson will voice, perhaps appropriately, an alien named Edgar.

The FPS is due out in the first-half of 2005 and will have players, in the role of Cole, investigating a virus outbreak at the infamous location. Both platforms will support online play for up to 16 players in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Humans vs. Alien Mutant Team Deathmatch modes.
