Climax Developing Crash ‘n’ Burn

Edios has signed a deal with Climax to develop Crash 'n' Burn, an arcade driving game. Supporting up to 16 players online, Crash 'n' Burn will be Eidos' first online console title. The title will place an emphasis on aggressive and dangerous driving. "The driving genre has become very predictable and conservative over recent years," commented Tony Beckwith, managing director of Climax, "and creating a new brand has given us the opportunity to understand what made us love vehicle-based games in the first place." Currently planned for a fall release, Crash 'n' Burn will be showcased on the Eidos stand at E3, so we'll have more then.
