Namco Bandai announced today that the latest installment in their long-running motorcycle racing series, MotoGP, is being developed for the first time on the PSP.

The game boasts new features including the new 2005 roster, unlockable rewards, and a wireless multiplayer mode that allows up to eight players to race against each other.

The new 2005 MotoGP roster which includes riders such as Valentino Rossi, Marco Melandri, Nick Hayden, Troy Bayliss, Carlos Checa, Alex Barros and Shinya Nakano.

The game is set to be released this fall, though no exact date was given.
