From today, Sony will start offering PSP demo kiosks around Japan at various locations like train stations, internet cafes, and retail establishments.

The 150 allocated units, called Playstation SPOTs, will initially feature demos of Loco Roco, Baito Hell 2000, and other strange Japanese games. PSP users will be able to download them to their handhelds for a limited amount of time.

Considering that most US retail outlets don't even have normal kiosks yet, don't expect this kind of service around these parts any time soon.
