Okay, so if we do the localization math, which is always an imperfect science…hmm…

We figure if we keep an eye on Japanese news and dates, we can stay ahead of the game when it comes to certain titles. A reader has turned us onto a new Andriasang report , which states that Sony Computer Entertainment has given White Knight Chronicles: Dogma Wars – the PSP iteration – a Japanese release date. It'll be available on February 3 in the Land of the Rising Sun, and gamers can nab it in standard UMD form, or they can purchase it online at in downloadable form on the PSN. The game will also boast an "Online Play License" for online action and if you activate this license within the first two weeks of the game's availability (between February 3 and February 17), you'll receive a limited edition set of six "Dogma Series" weapons. For the record, those weapons "can be created by working through the story" if you don't activate the license in time. Lastly, even though it's in Japanese, you might want to check out the title's official site .

So if Japan gets it on February 3, when do you think it'll show up on US shores? The localization processes shouldn't take as long as they used to…and while we're on the subject, may we have a finalized WKC2 release date for North America, please?

Side Note- We gave a mention to BikerSaint for giving us a lot of news tips; now we have to give another to Peter B., aka Orvisman, who gave us this info. …these two guys are always sending us tons of stuff. 🙂

Peter B.
I see you just got awarded into the "Honorable Mention" society like I did.

Help yourself to the open bar if you can find it(I'm still trying to locate it myself)

Anyway, "Welcome to the club"

An interesting thing to note about this game is that Level 5, with their experimental selves, have allowed a different developer full creative control of the title. WKC2 is the last that Level 5 have developed.

That said, this could be another "last" game for my PSP.

I've still been meaning to pick up White Knight, but every time I go to grab it, I always find something else I want..And I've got so many games that I haven't finished yet too…

Hopefully this appears after WKC2 here in the west, and hopefully, there will be a WKC3 on the PS3 to follow.

I agree, it should come after WKC2, I wouldn't mind if it comes out a short time after WKC2. But for it to actually have an impact it should follow the same format as it did in Japan.

Sweetness, WKC2 will be mine, and so will Dogma Wars. The first one is fun and cool, it isn't up to epic standards but you'd hafta be blind not to see the potential in the series.

Wtf? Wkc2 hasn't even got a release date for the US and dw already has a release date for japan? That's not right. When do we get wkc2? Stop holding out level-5!

I like WKC for sure but I'll be damned if they didn't come out with the most absurd requirements for their trophies.

yeah the trophies in that game are nuts, platinum is just a wild pipe dream.

The only people getting platinum WKC are the ones that play it like an MMORPG. That's just not the kind of time I am willing to put into many, if any, games.

Love this series, I hope WKC2 is a big hit here, the series so far is solid. The online is incredibly compelling. I know some of us don't like online play and all, but this game is a different story…

Anyway, looking forward to this. Seems it's more of a prequel explaining the Dogma Wars and how all that lead up to the game's main story.

Wow it'll also have an online component, not bad not bad. Hopefully the missions there are completely different in some way.

I enjoyed the online too, unfortunately the stubborn guild ranks kept me from being able to play all the missions.
