Frank-ProvoAt the stroke of midnight last night, the PSP finally made its debut in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Sales have reportedly been brisk, with a few stores selling out of systems and copies of the most popular games. Apparently, Europeans can't get enough of WipeOut Pure, World Tour Soccer, and Need for Speed Underground: Rivals.
To correspond with the launch, Sony has unleashed a torrent of PSP-specific content on YourPSP.com . Registration is required, and you have to select PSP-3003 as your system in order to be accepted.
No word yet on actual shipment numbers, but it is widely believed that Sony shipped roughly 400,000 PSP units to the UK and Europe for the launch.
