If you haven't checked out the Store since its update yesterday and you're a die-hard Sega fan, you're totally missing out. All aboard the nostalgia train!
As revealed at the PlayStation Blog , Sega community manager Julian Mehlfeld has listed the new PSP Go offerings on the PSN: we've got Alien Syndrome , Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars (everyone remember how we all loved Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast?), Crush , Full Auto: Battlelines (if you're a Twisted Metal fan, you should definitely check it out), the awesome Sega Genesis Collection (formerly released on the PS2), Iron Man , Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2 , and lastly, Super Monkey Ball Adventure (hearken back to the GameCube). Sega is definitely handing out the old-school gems to new PSP Go owners and of course, you can always give 'em a try on the PSP-3000, too. Many have questioned the $250 price tag for Sony's new handheld, but with all this content – and the rumors that it may fall to $199 this holiday season – you may want to seriously consider a purchase. Or, if you're already a PSP owner, you might want to think about an upgrade, even though we don't yet have a conversion program for switching your UMD libraries over to digital format. That's coming soon.
So anyway, if you loved the old Sega Genesis – and who didn't? – these are all games you're familiar with, and you'll likely want to revisit them…unless, for some weird reason, you've still got the cartridges somewhere.
