There are more than a few promising titles on tap for the PSP in the fourth quarter, and some might even revolutionize handheld gaming on the PSP Go ( Gran Turismo PSP and LittleBigPlanet PSP) .

Well, here comes another one that might land on your wish list: it's Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars , which was only recently confirmed for Sony's portable. Now, according to a recent Twitter update by Rockstar, we learn that Chinatown Wars will be ready to go on October 20. They also say the first official screenshots will be headed our way soon, so that's more good news. GTA is one of those franchises that will likely continue on until the end of time, although some Sony fans were concerned that Rockstar might be avoiding the PSP. After all, this game here only debuted on the Nintendo DS and there was no word on whether or not it would eventually come to Sony's handheld. But Rockstar was quick to dispel any rumors concerning their supposed abandonment of the PSP; they specifically said in a statement that the PSP has been good to them in the past, and they weren't about to take their most popular franchise away from it.

Well, anyway, another anticipated title is now set for October. But at least this one will be a little cheaper than the $60 required for the likes of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves …even though you'll buy both. ūüėČ

Ive never been a GTA fan and I'm trying to save enough money to get a PSP GO and Uncharted 2(even though this probably will cost $40).

Great news! I hear the game on the DS is a blast. Well at least it looks fun, it has the original birds eye view from the 1st and second, loved those.

I hope they fix the bugs that were prevalent in the ds version like, cops appearing through walls and buildings when chasing you, graphics disapearing when speeding down the road, buildings signs trees and items blocking your view when driving along its great driving and not seeing the cop you hit because an overhead roadsign blocks your view of him.
