Ben-DutkaSometimes, it can be very difficult to tell which Square-Enix games are going where, especially when it comes to the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The veteran RPG publisher has issued so many different KH titles and spin-offs, it's tough to keep track of all the proceedings. Therefore, when a rumor comes around like this, we just shrug our shoulders and say, "yeah, maybe. Who knows?"
For now, Kingdom Hearts: Coded is only a mobile phone title (no, we have no idea why they continue to make those), but according to European game site PS3Life, the title is also coming to the PSP. Supposedly, they're focusing on other more current titles in the hopper for now, which is why Square-Enix hasn't revealed this as truth. Perhaps we'll get the announcement at the Tokyo Game Show next month, and if we do, it's just another reason to own Sony's sleek handheld. It already has plenty of great RPGs in its library, and while Square-Enix has been throwing a lot of love towards the DS, the PSP got Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII earlier this year. That was arguably the biggest title in the portable's short history so far, and something like Kingdom Hearts: Coded could be big as well. Of course, we would expect a more enhanced version on the PSP; owners won't want the same thing mobile phone users played, right?
Anyway, considering Square-Enix isn't in the business of making game announcements on a frequent basis, we'll have to wait until TGS 2008. They usually wait for big shows to release any facts and details concerning their projects, so for now, this is nothing but an intriguing rumor.

KH has gone to advanced for its own good, a bit like Pokemon after the original 151.
If it is coming to the PSP I'll hit that. I just bought an HD connecter from PSP to LCD and man I don't have to play on the mini screen anymore WOOT! I got a 37" LCD and it is looking very smooth on the screen (Aspect ratio). Now I can play Crisis Core without a hassal and FFT:WofL … i didn't beat those games yet ~
Crisis Core is fantastic! I hope you enjoy it, i literally couldn't put it down. BTW does that cable only work on slim PSPs?
when i asked the guy (really awesome dude he knows tons of things about gaming hardware and software) he looked into it and asked if i had the slim version … i'm guessing you do have to have it. and the funny thing is he works at GameStop, he's moving to another location so I'm following him! haha.
you could try to look for it. it has 5 wire connections (HD connections if i'm correct). Ben do you have some knowledge, or anyone else?
The software that you need for the cable, is only compatible with the slim model. I have the cables, and they are fantastic! I love watching Shaun of the Dead using my PSP hooked up to my 40'' Bravia flat screen. And playing games is sweet, too!
But I would be more excited for KH for PS3, than one for the PSP. It would be nice, though.

its starting to get to when im ignoring any KH games that dont end in a III
spinoffs are nice, but the fifteen different directions Enix is taking the KH franchise only confirm my suspicion that they handed the reigns over to a team of interns for the year and decided they would rather play golf.
Well, if the situation is anything like Final Fantasy XIII Agito, it will go to PSP. That started on a mobile phone.
