Jack AndrewsIt would appear that some of October 2023’s PlayStation Plus Essential games have leaked – thanks expectedly to Twitter and Dealabs magazine contributor, billbil-kun. The dataminer has been accurate almost every month since September 2021, and now claims that two of next month’s Essential titles will be The Callisto Protocol and Farming Simulator 2022, available to download from October 3 until November 7.
Similar to September’s Saints Row, The Callisto Protocol reportedly didn’t live up to expectations. Only last week, Glen Schofield, the CEO of developer Striking Distance, left the studio. However, the studio claims it not to be related.
Each month, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers can claim a few “free” games each month, with September 2023’s collection being Saints Row (PS5, PS4), Black Desert: Traveler Edition (PS4), and Generation Zero (PS4). If you want to claim any of these titles, ensure to do so before October’s games are released!
