While The Last of Us 2‘s infamous protagonist change caused a lot of uproar, it sounds like we may get more of the character, perhaps not from Naughty Dog themselves, but VA Troy Baker knows “we’ve not seen the last of Joel.”
Speaking to Eurogamer (via PSU), the actor, who portrayed Joel in The Last of Us, labeled the original game as “one of the best stories in games” and asserted that the TV show, which starred Pedro Pascal, did well in “keeping the essence and spirit” of the game. We’ve got more in store, considering Neil Druckmann has said that TLoU has a “few stops.”
Whatever the case may be, we have Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet to look forward to, which is the first new IP Naughty Dog has played around with since The Last of Us.
