Fragpunk Gets A New Console Release Date, And It’s Soon

March 6 was the day many hero shooter fans had marked in their calendars, ready for the release of Bad Guitar Studio’s Fragpunk. The 5v5 hero shooter was due to release simultaneously on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, however, last-minute unexpected technical challenges caused the console release to be delayed, whilst the PC version was still rolled out.

Previously there was no news on when the console launch date would be, but a new update from Bad Guitar Studios and NetEase has stated that they hope to get the console versions ready within the next two months, meaning the game should be dropping at some point before May 6.

As an apology for the delay the studio will be compensating console players by giving them all in-game rewards, cosmetics, currencies and XP they would have earned between the initial launch date and the actual console launch, which is great to see.

Are you excited to finally get your hands on a new hero shooter? Do you think Fragpunk has enough to offer gamers against the likes of Valorant, Marvel Rivals and Overwatch? Let us know in the comments below.
