Forza Horizon 5 Requires Microsoft Account

Forza Horizon 5, which is debuting on PlayStation 5 later this year, will require a Microsoft account.

Naturally, this sounded alarm bells on social media for some who felt this would hinder any sort of preservation of the PS5 version. This raises concerns if say Microsoft eventually discontinues their account linking ability.

This Microsoft decision follows Sony’s battle with PC gamers, which led to them easing up on PSN account linking, really only offering up bonuses for those who do link their account.
