If you're tired of all the buzz surrounding The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt , I've got bad news:
This is going to continue for a while. A very long while.
There are a number of reasons why this game will remain in the news, and talked about by the general gaming community, for most of 2015.
First, it's just a massive production. The game is so freakin' giant that nobody is going to finish it very quickly, and many will still be playing several months from now. On top of which, because it's so gargantuan, we'll always be discovering new things (and yes, that probably includes new glitches).
Second is the simple fact that beyond Batman: Arkham Knight in June, there's really nothing in July or August; nothing until Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain drops on September 1. This alone will mean The Witcher 3 will endure through the summer months; the fact that it's a mammoth experience only adds to the appeal. And third, let's not forget that CD Projekt Red will likely continue work on the game and we'll keep hearing about patches and updates. This frequently gets plenty of attention, mostly because gamers are annoyed when their entertainment goes awry.
It really is a perfect storm. There are several reasons why we'll just keep talking about this game. Hope you're prepared.
