If you're tired of all the buzz surrounding The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt , I've got bad news:

This is going to continue for a while. A very long while.

There are a number of reasons why this game will remain in the news, and talked about by the general gaming community, for most of 2015.

First, it's just a massive production. The game is so freakin' giant that nobody is going to finish it very quickly, and many will still be playing several months from now. On top of which, because it's so gargantuan, we'll always be discovering new things (and yes, that probably includes new glitches).

Second is the simple fact that beyond Batman: Arkham Knight in June, there's really nothing in July or August; nothing until Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain drops on September 1. This alone will mean The Witcher 3 will endure through the summer months; the fact that it's a mammoth experience only adds to the appeal. And third, let's not forget that CD Projekt Red will likely continue work on the game and we'll keep hearing about patches and updates. This frequently gets plenty of attention, mostly because gamers are annoyed when their entertainment goes awry.

It really is a perfect storm. There are several reasons why we'll just keep talking about this game. Hope you're prepared.

Talking about hot, what you people think about the rumor of MS buying Silent Hills?,the thing about the game being 80% completed and getting released at march 2016 perplexed me, that makes me doubt it's true.

First I'd heard of this. I would be extremely pleased to see the game back in development and it would also be a good win for Microsoft if it is true.

If MS does get Silent Hills exclusively here's hoping SONY get the Siren team up and running again so the PS4 can have a horror game to go up against it. If anyone has played through any of the Forbidden Siren games long enough they will realize that the series can definitely hold it's own. Some of the stuff in Forbidden Siren 2 puts Silent Hill's weirdness to shame imo.

Probably true tho, maybe that's why Konami remove pt demo from PS store. I'm happy if they bring back Silent Hill. ..

I agree, as long as they resurrect it i will be happy. I know we can't judge purely from a demo, but it was a fantastic way of teasing a game and showed plenty of promise for it to be cancelled and forgotten.

Not surprising at all. We'll see a lot of exclusive deals in the Xbone camp the coming years.

Many summers have no new games to play. I'm thrilled to have Witcher 3 to keep me occupied.

Hope you're all enjoying it as much as I am! ūüôā
