Earlier this week, fans saw multiple companies decide to postpone scheduled projects reveals due to recent events. Following in the footsteps of PlayStation, which postponed its PS5 game showcase, CD Projekt is looking to change the Cyberpunk 2077 event, Night City Wire, which was scheduled for June 11 to later this month.
Revealed in a tweet, they effectively cite that “more important discussions are happening right now.” They aren’t canceling the event, they’re even nice enough to set a new stream date.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

The studio revealed Night City Wire last month with many speculating that they’d show off some gameplay. It was all but confirmed earlier this week with its financial report titling a slide “Hands On – June 2020.”
CD Projekt will host the Cyberpunk 2077 event on June 25.
