Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerEarlier this month, Larien Studios revealed that Baldur’s Gate 3 was going to receive a significant patch. Initially, the developer planned on releasing it sometime today, but as it turns out, it needs another day.
Larien revealed this on Twitter, stating that Patch 3 is coming and that it’s a big patch. Because of its size it seems the studio wants to make sure the team has ample time to test it before it goes live.
Considering previous patches have been rather large, but this one actually led to the derailment of its schedule, we expect this one to be particularly large.
Patch 3 is coming, and it’s a big one. To ensure thorough testing, we’re releasing Patch 3 this Friday, September 22 instead.
