Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerAugust’s lineup has been announced. The games will be available on August 7.

First up is the 2K Games published, Mafia III. Take control of criminal Lincoln Clay and explore the fictional city of New Bourdeaux in 1968. Normally, the price for Mafia III is $39.99.
The other game on the list is the survival 4v1 title, Dead by Daylight. This game is commonly played as a multiplayer title. Play as either one of four survivors who are trying to escape or play as the lone killer trying to find their victims to torture and murder them. Dead by Daylight is normally $29.99.

There will also be two other bonus games that will be available. First up is the 2016 PSVR title; Here They Lie, a first-person VR horror game normally $19.99. The game will be available for PS Plus subscribers for free until October 2. You do need the PlayStation Camera and PS VR to play Here They Lie.
The other game is the PS4 PlayLink game, Knowledge is Power. This game is a trivia and challenge game normally $9.99. You will need the compatible app to play Knowledge is Power.

Dead by Daylight looks pretty interesting, i can see myself playing it. Mafia III i’ll throw in the library and if i get to it then cool, if not no big loss.
Mafia 3 is fine as I haven’t played that one but I’m told isn’t as good as mafia 2. I do find that vr games are overpriced so don’t buy that many.. So was disappointed to see the vr game that’s free is one I’ve already played.. I’m unfortunate as the past I think 5 months the plus games given to us I already had owned and finished with.
And does anyone actually play ps4 play link?
I’ve had the same problems over the years where i already own most of what they give away, then a large portion of what i don’t own are just games i’d never play.
I wish instead of the 2 games they’d work out a system with devs/pubs to give a list of 5 or 6 games each month, but you only get to pick two from it. That would hopefully give more opportunities to get games players either don’t own or at least want to play.
