Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerRaise your hand if you know of the roguelike genre. You all probably rose your hand. Well, it’s looking like RageSquid’s Descenders is coming to PS4. Here is a look at some PS4 gameplay put out by the publisher, No More Robots, today.
Initially launched in 2018, this mountain bike game turns the genre around, instead of warring against monsters and fantasy beings, Descenders puts you against the terrain. Per a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, the game is “definitely a game that is easy to pick up but hard to master.” The procedural generation ensures the game will still have a level of freshness no matter your route.
The game hosts a few different modes including a career mode and multiplayer mode in case you want to trek the forest, canyons, snowy peaks, and more with your friends.
Descenders is coming to the PS4 on August 25, 2020.
