My thoughts exactly about that Eurogamer review. It's pretty telling, though, that the guy who reviewed Uncharted 3 was the same person who reviewed Brink and gave it the same score. Take from that what you will.
Anyway, we all know that one stupid review would not ruin it for those who intended to buy the game since it was announced.
What is there to criticise about Uncharted 3?!?!? Seriously?!?!
I can see all the hate mail Eurogamer will get over that score. It's a bit like when some sources gave MGS4 a 7/10 and saying the only flaw was long loading times and even longer cutscenes. Pffft, some people just don't belong in journalism if they don't do their jobs right.
Ah.... I am so getting this on midnight release. Damn, I might just have to skip school. I'd take UC3 over being a Senior ANY day.
My excitement for this game escalates with each new bit of insight into it. So close!!
On another note, where's our good ol' friend _____________? I think he might flip out when he sees this score harhar 😉

Sorry, teacher in training, can't help myself...
Rather than just giving up on school, find that nice balance between Uncharted 3 and school. Give up extra-curricular stuff, sport, debating team, Glee club, dancing, drama, chess club, anything that isn't essential to your studies.
Uncharted comes second in priorities for the next 3 months. One below school or work, one above your boyfriend / girlfriend.
What are your feelings about work? Because I'm definitely not going next Friday!

Well it only took me about an hour to read through all the comments.
I knew as soon as I saw the score it wasn't Ben since he just mentioned how he doesn't give super high scores. Anyways awesome review. I have next Tuesday and Wednesday off for this. Can't wait.
maybe this game will cause me a pause for the Dark Soul run, right now with sl 45 lol.
Let me beat the Uncharted 3 and then get back to my Dark souls, planning put 400+ hours into it to platinum the DS. spent 190 hours on Demon souls to platinum it, I think at least double that hours in Dark Souls based on its much bigger scale of the world and more weapons. 😀

I don't play Dark Souls because I'm not a huge fan of it (though it is really interesting), and the game definitely looks hard but very appealing in terms of monsters/bosses and environments. One of the year's best and hardest games, even though I can't really get into it.
Good luck though, a game like that needs time put into it so it can be enjoyed even more.

Man I gave up on Dark Souls...so close to the end with only 4 more bosses to take care of, but the unfairness of one area (tombs of giants) is makimg me hate thisgame even more. Its one of those games you love because you hate it...well I hate the cheapness of this game and its grinding formula because if you domnt rely on blue phantom help...this game sucks something serious...too hard to be enjoyed...not hard because the AI is smart....hard because every new area unlocked has superpowered enemies and godlike bosses...done being stressed over a game...lol...

Anywho, an excellent review for a game that deserves nothing less. Can't wait until next weekend. This game is gonna get PLAYED!

Sucks i wont be able to grab the game on day 1, but 2 days later isn't too bad
I'm really glad this game got a perfect ten. I know there was an article recently about giving out perfect scores, and I didn't throw in my two cents then, but I have to admit that I do think it's practical to give out a perfect 10 even if perfection is impossible to achieve. It just shows that the game particularly excels in comparison to other games out there. If a game scores a perfect 10 by it's a must have game, maybe even if you're not particularly fond of the genre. When people see a 10 I'm sure one of the first things that comes to mind is something akin to "holy shit", which is what the reviewer is trying to convey, that it is a "holy shit" kind of game.
Anyways this game looks so killer. Some games I try not to pump myself up for too much to simply end up disappointed in the end, but with this game I know I could never hype it too much.
Oh and by the way if anyone on here is interested I started a blog about gaming. My first writeup concerns Uncharted 3 if anyone is interested.
By the way, the title of the website and my inability to take anything too seriously should be an indicator that it's not really news which is in no way direct competition for this website. I just thought I would throw it out there.
