This has yet to be confirmed by Sony, but according to an article in the
March issue of PlayStation Magazine, the PSP's next firmware update will pack
quite a punch. Sure, it will probably make it even harder for homebrew
programmers to work their magic, but there's some good to come of it as well.
Scheduled to be released as part of the update is a program called Sony Mail"
which will allow PSP owners to sign up for a free mail account and send/receive
e-mail on their PSP.
According to the article, the process will be linked to each PSP's serial
number, which will allow users to bypass the often cumbersome process of setting
up mail servers. Is it true? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
