Take UFC Undisputed’s Intensity Anywhere On The PSP

That's exactly what we need to vent our frustrations after a long, boring meeting: the ability to beat on someone in a virtual world while riding the bus home.

THQ and Zuffa have announced the upcoming PSP iteration of UFC Undisputed 2010 . It'll release for Sony's portable unit on September 7 and it'll include most all the features that made the game a hit on home consoles; "intelligent and intuitive combat, fighter customization, robust career progression, and challenging gameplay modes." Ah, but there's also the addition of ad-hoc wireless play for the PSP, so we can still compete against others. Said THQ Core Games Executive Vice President Danny Bilson:

"UFC Undisputed 2010 raised the bar for sports games earlier this year with an impressive feature set and unbeatable gameplay experience on high-definition console gaming platforms. We believe this franchise has the ability to flourish in a handheld format and look forward to delivering the game this fall for the PSP system."

UFC president Dana White says this will be a "must-purchase for anyone who wants to experience the action, authenticity and intensity of the UFC inside the virtual Octagon in a format they can take with them anywhere." Just remember that certain laws concerning handheld electronics are in place now, so don't get too involved. Like, watch out for the bus you're supposed to be riding , not stepping out in front of…

I've been waiting for a release date for this. I wonder how well it will actually play though… I tend to take a defensive standpoint when it comes to people complaining about the PSP not having a second analog stick, but I don't see how well this game will work without it. Hopefully they can pull it off.

psp is awesome without the 2 sticks. I'm looking forward to this and split/second. And lets not forget Patapon 3

Just don't go online with it. That feature is broken on consoles.

i hate ufc undisputed 2010. their submission system is broken against the cpu. ive been playing career mode and knocked out everyone on stand up until i got the championship belt. right after that, i lost it because the cpu submitted me. now i cant get the belt back because i kept getting submitted about 30 seconds after the first round started. no matter what i did i could not perform or escape a submission. i'm only playing on normal difficulty and the cpu seems to have their "shine" system on perfect. They were complaining that sales werent what they expected. its because they broke the game. i mean someone who doesnt play ufc games religiously would get pissed off playing this game because the submission system against the cpu is jacked. i mean on normal difficulty, the cpu can submit you in the first 30 seconds of the first round even though the tutorial states that submissions are harder to perform when the opponent has a lot of stamina. i gave up on the game a while ago. i tried getting tips online but most of them are just pricks telling a lot of the people complaining that they dont know what theyre doing.
