Some time ago, we learned that quite possibly the most anticipated PSP title of the year, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker , had been delayed past the original March 18 launch date. The new date of April 29 in North America wasn't too terrible but Hideo Kojima still expressed great disappointment in his team and even apologized to the fans. Now, he's gonna have to do it again because Konami has confirmed to CVG that Peace Walker has been pushed back in the UK; this time for about three weeks. The old date was May 28 and the new release date is June 18 for the region in question; now, we're wondering if this has any impact on the current April 29 date for the US… We're hoping it doesn't but either way, UK gamers can't be too happy about it. It appears that Konami is facing a few more issues with the production/producing process, although we don't have any explanatory details. Perhaps they're unnecessary; maybe we can just assume that June 18 will be the final date for the UK. Cross your fingers.
As of now, we still have the North American launch set at April 29. That's less than a month away now and the closer we get to gold status, the better off MGS aficionados will be.

Damn i live in the UK and i was going to buy this on Day 1. Ahh i'll have to wait a little longer now.

I doubt there will be a PSP2 coming this year. There's so many awesome PSP games coming out. If there is one, they would've saved the games for the PSP2 launch.
Which goes for Wii also.

Might have to do with the translation process with some many languages in Europe
Not to say that Kojima shouldn't be pissed at some of his team, but I'm glad to wait it out.
Kojima's a perfectionist that knows what he wants, so I can rest up for PW, while knowing he'll do it right.
True patience is not one of my strongest suits got to wait for other things to drop so many good stuff still to come.

With all the great PS3 games I still have to play, the last thing I'm worried about is a PSP game being delayed.

why is it that europe is always the only region to get a delay if its not worldwide?
what makes europe so special besides having to translate the audio i mean honestly it cant be that time consuming to warrant a freaking 3 week delay.
oh well i have not used me PSP in months so i guess another 3 weeks wont hurt.
i better turn it on and make sure its still working, theres probably 15 FW updates ill have to download by now.
3 weeks doesn't allow a whole lot of work to be done. It's not a huge delay.
I'd bet my life on a PSP2 announcement at E3 with a God of War spin off to go with it.
