And so it goes.
Yesterday, we told you about a listing that had appeared on UK retailer GAME's database, supposedly confirming a PSP version of MotorStorm . Well, Sony has quickly stepped up to clarify matters; as we had feared, the listing is nothing more than a mistake. A SCEE representative told VideoGamer.com that GAME made the listing in error and "it will be removed shortly." Sadly, this takes away a potentially great racing game for Sony's handheld, but at the same time, it prompts even further discussion. We're not ones to belabor the point, and we certainly don't want to fan the flames of a false rumor, but has anybody noticed the wording used by SCEE…? They didn't say MotorStorm PSP wasn't coming, they simply said the listing was a mistake. Sony's policy has always been the same: they won't announce something until there is something to announce.
Okay, well, maybe they're just not ready to announce this yet, and they're waiting until the Tokyo Game Show next month. It's a faint hope, but you do have to admit, it's a legitimate faint hope. For now, this rumor is busted, but a phoenix may rise from its ashes in due time…
thats bad, very bad.
Even if it was a mistake, and now that they saw this, maybe they'll consider the idea, that is of course if they aren't working on it already like you said.
🙁
I'd buy it!
It'd be awesome to have more racing games on the psp, specially off-road.
demo kicks ass!
