N+ Leaps Into Retailers On August 26

The PSP has been home to plenty of original titles in the past, many of which can be categorized as either "puzzle" or "action/puzzle," and it appears the latest should fall into the latter genre.

It has been announced that N+ , the game that features the spry little ninja whose mission in life centers on gathering up gold coins amidst a wide variety of imaginatively designed levels, is ready for release. It will hit store shelves for the PSP and DS on August 26, and will carry the appealing price tag of $19.99. With that price, those who are looking for something different and potentially addicting ought to give it a try; it's all about timing and reflexes – as any good "action/puzzle" game ought to be – and with 100 total levels and 50 co-op-based levels, there's more than enough bang for the buck. If you've enjoyed any number of the unique PSP titles in the past (like Patapon or Worms: Open Warfare 2 ), you really might like N+ . It's faster and more dexterity demanding than mentally demanding, but it's still in the same ballpark.

If you need any further convincing, check out our full preview of the game, so come August 26, you'll have an excuse to head to the mall.

Sony just has the most ORIGINAL titles out there by far! the Wii might have more console sales and all that…but seriously…no original games! They're all recycled stuff from the past! I mean…they even had to pull out Nights from the saturn days…sad! 360 is a little better considering they're buying most of em…but atleast they got more software than the Wii i'll give em that much. But for originals…by far PS3 and PSP get em hands down

It's a valid point. Everyone always points to Nintendo for "original" games, when in fact, all they're doing is pointing to games that are different than the mainstream titles on the other major platforms. As you say, there's really nothing all that unique about them.

Too many games like N and other PSP/PS2 titles in the past have been overlooked, and they're the very epitome of originality. Did the GameCube have Shadow of the Colossus? Yeah, the DS has the fresh form of interaction, but does it REALLY have more unique games than the PSP? No, I think not. 🙂

The popular term I'd have to use is, "Often imitated never duplicated" try as hard as you can to make your own HOME or LittleBigPlanet…theres no way! 😛

Thanks Ben for supporting my comment XD

I used to play N on the comp a long time ago, so I'll probably be getting my hands on this. And 100 levels!? That's a good deal 😀

I tried the demo on Live, I wasn't kean on it and I think $19.99 is a bit steap as I'm sure its cheaper on Live?

Wish they would put this on the PS Store. I'd rather have the game on a memory stick rather than having the entire case and UMD. Game is really addicting tho, I remember playing it in high school a few years back lol.
