An epic adventure like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim requires professional voice actors.
Obviously, the developers understand this, as they've recruited a bevy of accomplished actors of stage and screen for Bethesda's upcoming RPG. The only downside is that Patrick Stewart isn't included in the list of confirmed performers , but there's other great talent.
This is an all-new cast and it features Academy Award nominees, Max Von Sydow, Joan Allen, and Christopher Plummer. Plummer is also a two-time Emmy Award winner and a two-time Tony Award winner, and he'll play Arngeir, "a powerful Greybeard elder part of an order of philosopher monks who live in silent isolation on Skyrim’s largest mountain." I'm a big fan of Plummer and for that matter, Max Von Sydow and Joan Allen, too.
The cast consists of around 70 total members, ranging from Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman herself!), to Michael Hogan ("Battlestar Galactica") to Vladimir Kulick ("The 13th Warrior," "Smoking Aces") to George Coe ("Transformers: Dark of the Moon," Saturday Night Live). Yes, if there's one aspect of Skyrim that is bound to be stellar, it's the voice acting. We also expect the rest of the production to be pretty damn amazing, too.

I just hope the same voices for every other character aren't as obvious throughout the whole game this time.
No Patrick Stewart, No purchase
I'll admit to buying Elder Scrolls IV without reading up on it much before purchase (great game; played it through several times), and one of the memories about the game that sticks out the most was when I was like "holy sh**! That's Capt. Picard tellin me what's up!" Got to bring Patrick Stewart back…
Don't care I'll get the game and then i'll post my opinion when I see fit
Okay sir King of all Opinion sir.
Nice! I met Christopher Plummer. I actually got to work with him in my directing course when I was in the process of getting my degree in phys ed and theatre.
He works a lot of stage theatre now at Stratford here in Canada (since he is Canadian and from this area), which happens to be a 45 minute drive from where I live. He's an extremely talented dude.
