PS3 Euro Launch Games Suffer Delays

While European gamers are still getting a better selection of games for their launch day than we had for ours, several big-name titles have been delayed. Five games have been pushed beyond their initial launch date of March 23, and that includes several Ubisoft productions.

Perhaps the most significant delay goes to Bethesda Softworks' The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion . It releases this week in the U.S. for the PS3, but Euro gamers are now going to have to wait until April 27. Those aforementioned Ubisoft titles are as follows: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent is pushed back a week to March 30, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 is now scheduled for June, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas simply has the new estimate of "spring 2007."

The last delay involves Vivendi's F.E.A.R. , which won't make it until April 20. Euro gamers had hoped to see all of these for the launch, but it looks like they're going to have to wait a bit longer.
