Evidently, Namco Bandai and Tecmo are collaborating on a secret project, which has earned an intriguing teaser site .
As you can see, we don't have too long to wait; there are no hints besides the "Namco Bandai Games Inc. X Tecmo Koei Games Co., Ltd" branding. Now, we'd want this to be something totally bad-ass like a mix of Ninja Gaiden and Soul Calibur , but who knows? We can't really handle another Dynasty Warriors and the chances of a localized, turn-based Tales RPG are nil.
We'll know in almost exactly 7 days, but maybe more hints will come down the pipeline before the week is up. Are we holding our collective breaths or are we convinced it won't be worth the wait?

Dynasty Warriors, to me, died after the first one. They should've kept it a fighting game, not hack and slash.
Damn the first DW was real good. I have a copy and still play it from time to time.

Perhaps this has something to do with Namco Bandai's recently announced .hack//The Movie 3D / mini game that will be on the movie disc?

EDIT : it was cyberconnect2's .hack//the movie 3d. Namco bandais just published it.
But since they were involved with the game, its still not outside the realm of possibilities for this countdown to have something to do with it.
Oh man if this is Dead or Alive versus Tekken or Soul Calibur i will cream.

Speaking of DOA i wonder what ever became of DOA Code Chronos? I'm guessing that's well & truly canned by now. Apparently it was meant to be a game similar to Ninja Gaiden but would revolve around Kasumi & Ayane. Could have been greatness but alas one will never know.
If this has anything to do with Tekken Namco HQ will be set on fire! It's bad enough we have Tekken VS Street Fighter if this is Tekken V DoA I vow here and now to never and I mean NEVER! purchase a Tekken Game again. I am sick of the constant let down.
Well you only see a START graphic like that in a fighting game so at least we know it's that.
