Ben-DutkaI have to admit, that Resistance 3 multiplayer beta is a ton o' fun. Very refreshing in some ways I think.
If you missed it, you can read our impressions on the sample, and if you've been enjoying yourself right along, Insomniac has some good news for you.
A reader, who keeps a close eye on various Twitter feeds, including that of Insomniac Community Manager James Stevenson , has forwarded this info. As you can see, Stevenson has announced an increase for the beta level cap; it's going from 20 to 30 this weekend. Plus, he mentions that we'll get some "new stuff" to toy around with; unfortunately, he didn't elaborate on that "stuff." Even so, anything new for this beta is encouraging. It's just another excuse to keep playing, all the way up until the game's release.
By the way, in case you've forgotten, Resistance 3 arrives on September 6. That's only a little over a week away. Deep Silver's Dead Island shares the same release day, by the way, and you can expect more on that one. We'll be involved in a Q&A roundtable this week.

mp feels more like RFOM than R2 which is a major plus. Have mine pre-ordered
Im not into Resistance, but i have been playing the beta to past the time till the games i want come out. I do like that the level cap is getting raise though i already have all the guns and perks upgraded. So hopefully there be new weapons to test and new maps and modes.
Holy crap that's coming close. The reviews are going to be good for this game I think based on early reactions. I'll partake at some point, Resistance is under-appreciated.
Deus Ex is keeping me plenty happy but Dead Island's coming close too? Gaaaaa

I love resistance but I have a feeling if I get too far in the beta I will be extremely dissapointed that I have to progress again when I get the game. So I'll hold off on it till the 6th
Damn I wish I could play this, by the time I am back to uni and on my PS3 the game will be out 😛
I have the R3 beta and i don't think it's very fun at all.Spawn camping,clip eating,the worse meelee system ever created,players floating in the sky,plus lag.R3 multiplayer is terrible.Made me go back to playin Black Ops.Maybe the single player will be fun.Or perhaps the co-op mode will be fun.As far as i'm concerned R3 is a B rated shooter at best.I had high hopes for R3 but after playing the beta for the last week,i'll pass on purchasing this B rated shooter.There's only 2 shooter games worthy of my money this year.BF3 & MW3.
