Yeah, there isn't much to play right now. But you know, a whole lot of great games came out earlier this year.
One of them is MotorStorm: Apocalypse , which is a white-knuckle ride through a crumbling metropolis. Despite its flaws, it's still oodles of fun, and the developers have just released a huge update .
First up is the opportunity to design your own game modes via the Mode Editor. You can tweak the regular Race mode so that vehicle attacks are disabled, set the number and type of vehicles per event, and in general, just customize to your heart's content. Furthermore, you can customize your favorite vehicle and share it with your buddies through MotorStorm.com .
They even went and added compatibility for various steering wheels and the PlayStation Move. They'll have "customizable configurability options," too," so you won't be forced into an uncomfortable control mechanic. Here's a testimonial from SCEA producer Daimion Pinnock:
"I’ve been lucky enough to experience the game using a Logitech G27 force feedback wheel, on a 3DTV with surround sound set-up, and I can honestly say it’s the most exhilarating gaming experience I’ve ever had. Pumping the accelerator and gripping the wheel as you drift your muscle car through a tight city corner at break neck speeds feels incredible, and when an apocalyptic earthquake aftershocks kick in and tears open the ground beneath your wheels – while you’re trying to avoid gangs of crazy looters and rivals throwing their weight around in monster trucks – it ups the ante even more. If you can, you absolutely must experience MotorStorm Apocalypse like this. Words just don’t do it justice."
Strong words, no? Lastly, they've amped up the online multiplayer experience; we now have new clan tags, and changes to gambling and lobby privacy. As always, you can check out the official site (linked above) to see what's new in the world of MotorStorm . You should give it a try if you haven't just yet.

Well maybe if they bought every buyer a Logitech G27 force feedback wheel and a 3DTV with surround sound set-up then maybe we'd all think the same way 😉
They're offering a 23" 3DTV with the game. Close enough?
Nope, because a 500$ tv with a game (and resistance 3 from gamestop) isn't the same as a 60$ game with a tv and surround sound system 🙂
I love this game, and they finally fixed the multplayer mode for me a few weeks back. Before, the game would always quit from server at the end of a multiplayer race event. Nulling me from any bet winnings or end of race multipliers.
I'll get downloading this update. woo hoo!
love me some Motorstorm!

It doesn't do what you described anymore but it still had really annoying server issues. But the multiplayer is so damn addicting I still kept playing. Hopefully they fixed everything after this update. Checking now.
dunno why they bothered doing this when the games still broken.
i kinda like to see where im going when im racing, so why does every single god dam jump hurl me into a wall?
good that they added wheel support that always makes games allot more fun, but kinda pointless when your constantly having to restart the race, because you hit a ramp that hurled you into a wall.
why am i getting punished for something thats totally out of my hands?
im suppose to pause the game and use my telepathical powers so i can read into the future so i can see which jumps are clear and which ones are not am i?
Yeah.. still have to get this. I need a money tree and the ability to stop time. That'd be good.
Money Tree? Like, those places people go to get money from their next pay check in advance just to have them yank 1/3 of your pay for themselves.
Yeah, probably better off with a credit card 😉
Unless you mean a literal "money tree"
I want one too =)

A racing game for the move? I'm glad another game in my collection is getting move support, but I just hope it isn't complicated.
Yes! Going to download the update right now.
