When it was first announced, the package in question boasted a 24" 3D HDTV, a set of 3D glasses, and a copy of Insomniac's latest shooter. Then Sony made the switch and everyone went, "hey…that's not quite as attractive." But a reader sent us over to GameStop's listing :
As you can see, the retailer will toss in a copy of Resistance 3 alongside MotorStorm: Apocalypse provided you pre-order the bundle. It'll arrive in November if you're interested. Now, it could just be that GameStop doesn't want to piss off everyone who had already pre-ordered the package, before Sony dropped R3. But even if that's the case, so what? At least we still get two great games with an excellent TV for only $499.99. That ain't bad, right?

Interesting for sure, didn't know Gamestop would even offer the TV? I'm assuming this is online only or something, because the largest device I've seen in a gamestop is just a console. But that's still quite awsome, makes me want to buy one since I was intending to get it myself (to dual monitor with my pc so i can 3d game on my pc, haha) But still, good job gamestop, you actually did something that would make people want to shop there.

That's nice of them, I know some people here are interested in this thing so I'd love to hear how well this weirdo tech works that lets you play co-op without having split screen.
yeah, if i was going all out with an 3DTV, i wouldnt go for 26" 😛
hell i got a panasonic plasma almost twice as big (not 3D) for $550

exactly. the tv featured is too damn small.
I kinda live in a van I guess. 26" is just right got some of us. I kept the original box and every thing to my 23" HD computer monitor so I could travel with it.
I just upgraded from a 26" HD-CRT. It wasn't too bad, but I had to pull the chair pretty close. My TV / living room is shallow, though. Now, I'm only a foot or two further from the TV.
However, I have surround sound now (it's part of the TV), which is arguably a bigger improvement than the bigger, sharper images.
Normally I would agree on the size discussion, but there are many situations where this tv would be pretty cool… I currently live in bachelor enlisted quarters at nnptc in sc. Two people per room and you get a security violation (room inspections suck) if you leave anything valuable left out and not locked up. And we have these cabinets that with shelve installed can fit at the most a 26" tv… now, of course I may have removed all the shelves and installed my own so that I could have room for my 40 inch samsung led 3d tv, slim and phat ps3s, and much more. But my point is that there are many situations where a tv this size may be desirable.
no ones saying you need a big TV, just that having a 3D TV so small is useless!
you NEED a big TV for better 3D effects!
theres a reason why the smallest 3D TV you can buy ATM is 40 inches.
any smaller you diminish the effect, might as well go for a normal TV or even better a PC monitor!
when it comes to 3D size does matter!
wow, and everyone says gamestop are the evil empire!
nice to see a game of value thrown in there, by the time this is out motorstorm would of gone plat.

It's not at the level it should be yet. And I will never get 3D for my home if you have to wear glasses.
